I spent the majority of my time yesterday thinking how much better this dress would be if only it had pockets . . . which is pretty much my reaction to any garment that doesn't have pockets. Turns out the joke was on me, because I discovered while taking outfit photos that it very clearly does. I don't know what that says about my powers of observation, especially since I've had this dress for at least a year, but it's not great. Paper bag dresses like this are fantastic (especially once you figure out that they have pockets) because they're loose and comfortable and make it super easy to eat anything you want without worrying about people commenting on your food baby. Always a benefit. And the loose shape helps temper how short the dress is, especially on me. (Thanks, freakishly long torso.) In my mind, loose + short can't equal slutty — or at least that's what I'm telling myself since I wore this to work yesterday.
i love those frye boots.

Finding pockets on something you thought didn't have pockets is the BEST! Love the gray, black and red - so cute! And totally agree - it it's loose & short - it's definitely not slutty :)

The Other Side of Gray
I hope it shrinks more and then you can give it to me. Keep that in mind.
